Ingredients:
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup of #Carmenere120
- 3 egg whites
- ½ cup of toasted and chopped walnuts
Preparation:
Put the sugar and #Carmenere120 in a pot. Cook the mixture over medium heat until it forms a syrup.
When the wine mixture starts boiling, begin beating the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gradually, while continuing to beat, slowly add the hot syrup. Keep beating until the meringue cools down and becomes silky and shiny. Serve the nougat in individual cups and top with the chopped walnuts.
